HOW TO PLAY

• Move with your left thumb anywhere on screen — or WASD on a keyboard.
• Weapons fire themselves. Your only job is positioning. Never stop moving.
• Kills drop shards. Shards level you up, and each level lets you pick an augment.
• Take a weapon to level 8, max its paired passive, and it evolves into something far nastier.
• You carry 6 weapons and 6 passives. Spreading thin gets you killed — commit to a build.
• Let the swarm crowd up and it becomes something worse. Many of one kind together evolve; a mixed crowd merges into an Amalgam. Those crowd up too — and what they become at the top of the ladder is a bomb.
• You get a moment to stop it. A forming cluster glows green and drags itself together under a countdown ring. Kill enough of them before it closes and the whole thing collapses.
• Brood Mothers drop chests. The Hive Tyrant arrives at 20:00.
• Dying still pays ◆ cores. Spend them in the Hangar to start stronger.
